The growth in female property investors

A great article published here by Sue Williams from Domain describes the growth in female investors over recent years - https://www.domain.com.au/advice/investor-iwd-2025-1357385/.

Despite the gender pay gap, there has been an increasing percentage of women who are purchasing real estate - as the article states, women in Gen Z invested at a rate of 71%, compared to millennials at 63%, and baby boomers 57%. This shows the trend of female property investors is growing over time.

This is an encouraging trend given the difficulty for younger home buyers to purchase their first home and get on the property ladder - maybe buying an investing property first to generate equity and cashflow could be a smart move.

With all of the online digital tools and and education available, this makes gaining access to property investing resources far easier.

As the article goes on to say, 13 years ago, the ratio of men to women real estate investors was roughly 80/20, but now it's getting closer to 50/50.
