Vacancy Rates have eased across Sydney

According to recent media reports, you may be aware that rental vacancy rates have eased across Sydney.

See the report below showing vacancy rates for the following 6 postcodes in Sydney.

 

2026 - Bondi (Sydney East) - vacancy rates increased from 2.08% in Q1 (March 2024) to 3.97% in Q2 (June 2024).

2170 - Liverpool (South West Sydney) - vacancy rates increased from 0.82% in Q1 (March 2024) to 0.94% in Q2 (June 2024).

2000 - Sydney (Central Business District) - vacancy rates increased from 3.9% in Q1 (in March 2024) to 5.71% in Q2 (June 2024).

2220 - Hurstville (Sydney South) - vacancy rates increased from 0.96% in Q1 (March 2024) to 1.56% in Q2 (June 2024).

2750 - Penrith (Western Sydney) - vacancy rates increased from 0.65% in Q1 (March 2024) to 0.76% in Q2 (June 2024).

2077 - Hornsby (Sydney North) - vacancy rates increased from 1.51% in Q1 (March 2024) to 1.15% in Q2 (June 2024).

 

As you can see above, rental vacancies increased for all suburbs except for one.
